Our Picnic

On Friday we were having a picnic first we got our hat and our bag. When we got our hat and our bag we lined up to go to the hall.When we got there Mr Burt was talking about safety and right time  and right place right attitude. When Mr burt  finished talking the year 7-8 went first to the beach but Mr burt was in front of the year 7-8 then it went like year 5-6 then the year 4-3 and then the year 1-2 and Mrs Nua was at the back of the year 1-2. When we all got to the beach we had to sit down and listen to Mr Burt because he was talking again about  safety and right time  and right place. Then we went to go put our bags away and then we went to go play and have some fun. The year team 1swimming first ,and then team 2 was going swimming second  and then the year team 3 went and then went and team 5 was the last on to go swim. Also we did karaoke then we finished karaoke and we got our bags and we went back to  school. Then we all walked back to school. When we got to school we had to go back to class and room 9/10 were watching Manaiakalani movies. Then the bell ringed it was home time.

My harmonica work

We made a harmonica and we made it with popsicle sticks and lots of rubber band. Also we had to make lots of noise. 

Making pipes

First we had to sit down and watch a video on the TV that Mrs Buchanan made a pipe. We had to get 8 straw and 1 cardboard 1  scissors and 1 Sticky tape and then you will have to cut it Diagonally and then  we had to do small to big . Then we had to sticky tape and then we had to stick it on the carried. Then we had to blow it and make some noise.

Going to the creek.

Now that you have made a plan, it is time to write your recount in full sentence. On Monday the 15th of February we  were walking to creek. When we got there there were rubbish and duck and more rubbish and it was stinking and smelling. The color for the water is black. We walked to creek and then we stand up and to see what was in the water.After that we sat down and we had to listen to the teacher. We lined up with Mrs Buchanan and Mrs Buchanan took a photo of us with her phone. Later on

After when Mrs Buchanan took a photo of us we started to line up to came back to our class  and then we went on our Chromebook and we started to write about it. We  were walking to class and we came to our class and then we came to sat down again and we had to listen to Mrs buchanan. When Mrs Buchanan  finished talking she told us to get our chrome book and start our writing.

Guardians of the galaxy

Here is the animation I created about Guardians of the Galaxy at Creative Space in Term 3. My story is about some astronauts who visit another planet to find somewhere new to live.

First of all We had to go and line up for assembly and Kauri Flats School came to our school and  they were talking about flounder.

Next  When kauri flats school finished talking about flounder some of the kapa haka had to go on the stage and dance and sing.

After that  when all the  kapa haka finished there thing we had to go back to our class and get our bag and sit down so our teacher can do the roll and we all split into group for matariki.

Later on We had to get like a sticker from miss  Buchanan and we had to go to that class that was on the sticker.

In the end We all had to go to the hall but in our class and we were just watching some video and then the bell ringed and that was for home time.

Measuring length

I worked with Neveah when we were learning to measure in centimetres. We used blocks and a measuring tape to work out that Neveah's hand is 13cm across.

I now know that one centimetre is about the size across one of my nails.

Hour of code

I am learning how to code using Hour of Code.  My coding challenges are about Moana.
